Subscriptions and billing
Subject line:
Subscription — <brief description>
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not directly by us. Most subscription changes are managed in your store account:
- iOS: Open the App Store subscription settings or open the app, go to Profile → Subscription → "Manage subscription".
- Android: Open Google Play subscriptions or use the in-app "Manage subscription" button.
- Restore purchases: If a previously bought subscription isn't showing up after reinstalling or signing in on a new device, open the app and tap "Restore purchases" on the Subscription screen.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple / Google. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS purchases or Google's refund process for Android. For exceptional cases (e.g. an outage that prevented you from using what you paid for) write to us and we'll help where we can.
Account help

Account — <brief description>
- Sign-in problems: Tell us the email or sign-in method you use (Apple, Google, email/password) and any error messages you see.
- Delete your account: Open the app → Profile → "Delete account". This removes your personal data within 30 days. If you cannot access the app, email us with "Account — Delete request" and we will delete your account manually.
- Change your email or display name: Profile → edit fields. If something is stuck, email us.
Bug reports

To help us reproduce the problem, please include:
- What you were doing when it happened.
- What you expected to happen and what actually happened.
- Device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18).
- App version (Profile → bottom of screen).
- Screenshots or a short screen recording if possible.
Companion AI / story content concerns

AI content — <short description>
If an AI-generated story beat, voice clip, image, or chat response is offensive, off-topic, or otherwise feels wrong, let us know. Include a screenshot or the specific text where possible. We use this feedback to tune our content moderation. For details on how AI-generated content works, see Section 5 of our Terms of Service.
Group safety and abuse reports

Abuse Report
If another user is harassing you, posting harmful content in group chat, or otherwise violating our Terms of Service (Section 6), report it with:
- The group ID or invite code.
- The display name of the user.
- The approximate time the incident occurred.
- A screenshot if possible.
We review every abuse report and may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other action at our discretion.

Use the subject line that matches your jurisdiction. We respond within 30 days as required by applicable law.

Before you write — quick self-service
- Permissions: Location, microphone, motion, heart-rate, and notification permissions can be granted or revoked any time in your device's system settings.
- Audio too intense? Adjust music, voice, and threat-audio volumes in-app under Profile → Audio.
- Don't want ads? Profile → Upgrade to Premium, or pick the Ad-Free Supporter tier.
- Notifications too noisy? Profile → Notifications, or disable in your OS settings.
- Run not tracking right? Make sure background location is allowed, and that the device isn't in a battery-saver mode that suspends GPS.
